Economic analysis
We realized today that the chief defining characteristic of industrialized society is the ability to have profligate numbers of delicious marshmallow bits floating about in a bowl of cereal. Upon further analysis, it appears that our suspicions are correct: the Marshmallow:Matey ratio in a country’s given supply of Marshmallow Mateys closely corresponds to the country’s GDP per capita. The only outliers in the data are pirate-heavy countries like Trinidad and Tobago, which have extremely high Matey counts despite middling GDP levels.
